Tom Hulfish is an eighth generation native of Alexandria where his family has been involved in business and real estate. He has been with McEnearney Associates, Inc. since it's inception over twenty-five years ago and was instrumental in organizing the Commercial Division.
Well known for creative solutions to complicated real estate issues, Tom's expertise over the years has provided beneficial opportunities for investors, developers, landlords, tenants, property owners and purchasers. He has handled a broad range of transactions: assemblages, tax free exchanges, estate sales, historic properties, workouts, leasing, tenant representation, advice, and consultation.
An additional and unique benefit to Tom's clients is his four decades of significant experience in community affairs, including service as President, Officer or Director of many local civic and charity organizations as well as service on numerous City boards and commissions. He presently serves as Chairman of the Alexandria Board of Architectural Review of the Old and Historic District, which is staffed by the city Planning Department.
